One Way To Heaven

Galatians 2:16 - A man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.

Some people believe that there are many ways to God. They insist that it doesn't matter who or what you worship as long as you are a "good person". many of the world's religions teach that if you live a good and moral life, your efforts will earn you a place in heaven.

It may sound logical, but what I learned that the word of God says there is only one way to heaven, and its through His son Jesus Christ. He has bridged the gulf between sinful man and a holy God. The good things we do in our lifetime do not earn us a place in heaven. And the Bible even says that even "our righteous acts are like filthy rags." And also Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is because of His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary that we can receive salvation. Now those who try to get to heaven by any other way than by God's grace and Jesus' righteousness are wrong.

TSMSS: The POTTER'S HAND

Verse:
Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Saviour
I know for sure, all of my days are held in your hands, crafted
into your perfect plan
You gently call me into your presence guiding me by Your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord to live all of my life through Your eyes
I'm captured by Your holy calling
Set me apart, I know you're drawing me to yourself
Lead me Lord I pray

Chorus:
Take me, Mold me, use me, fill me
I give my life to the Potter's hand
Call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the Potter's hand

You gently call me into your presence guiding me by your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord to live all of my life through your eyes
I'm captured by your Holy calling
set me apart, I know your drawing me to yourself
lead me Lord I pray

Repeat Chorus

Halloween Madness

Every year, when September 1st comes, most people have this common thinking that Christmas is already near. Christmas songs are played in radios and even Christmas trees are displayed in shopping malls, and this also means the holidays! Awesome!
But there’s one occasion most Caucasians celebrate before Christmas, the Halloween. It is an annual holiday spent every October 31st. This has become a popular tradition where adults and children have to dress up Simple HalloweenCostumes, or even the scariest ones. They portray or imitate scary or supernatural beings.
Traditionally, adults and kids wear costumes such as Dracula, vampires, ghosts, devils, and witches. In modern days, people sometimes order customized Halloween costumes. They wear customized designs such as modern superheroes, aliens, and science-fiction costumes. But aside from such activity, there are other common traditions they tend to adopt---like going to the cemetery to visit their loved ones who passed away, kids going house to house for trick or treats, ghost tours or visiting horror or haunted houses, and the ever famous carving of jack-O-lanterns. Activities vary from each country but no matter how each country celebrates it, I believe there is only one thing that is common about them, they simply want to have fun.

Cash Advance Loan

Who doesn’t need money? I guess we all do, right? We
need it in so many ways. Money to pay for our daily expenses such as food and clothing, to our telephone and cellular phone bills, maybe it be postpaid or prepaid, money for our electric and water bills (delayed or on time payments). We also have bill for our internet, tuition fees for the kids, hospital bills, and we shouldn’t forget the money for shopping. Bills, bills, bills. Nowadays, money is indeed very essential. We may not agree with it, but practicality wise, it is true. We need to work hard or even harder to gain and to be able to save a lot. However, when circumstances arise, and our money isn’t that sufficient, that’s the time we panic. People think of solutions on how to raise such amount of money. Good thing for we don’t need to worry because, nowadays, cash advance loans are available. You might ask what a cash advance loan is? Oh well, this is simply called the payday loan. It is a short term loan where in you can borrow money and must be repaid in your next payday. Cash advance loan is fast and hassle-free. So when you need cash, just visit any agency in your area that offers this kind of loan. J

TSMSS: CREATOR KING by Don Moen

V1
You, Who made the mountains and the sea
Measured out the universe and you make me
Echoes of the voice that called the worlds to be
Reach throughout the ages and now speak to me
You're my Creator King

V2
You, Who made the valleys and the skies
Displayed Your love on far horizons and before my eyes
You, Who lit the stars and set the dawn in time
Called them all by name and now You whisper mine
You're my Creator King

Chorus
Who am I that You are mindful of me
Who am I that You sent Your love on me
You're my Creator King

V3
You, Who made the darkness and the light
Sun and Moon to watch the day and guard the night
The hand that stretched the heavens like a canopy
Reaches down to cover and watch over me
You're my Creator King

Vacation, Vacation, Vacation!

Ever since I was a little child, I have been used to travelling because my parents used to travel but just within the country, though. But just a year ago, my mom, my sister and her family, and I had our first ever out of the country escapade. We went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Not in my wildest dreams that I’d be able to visit that place. Though I have always wanted to travel to other countries but it was so unexpected that it would be Malaysia where I can have my first out of the country visit. We had lots of fun during the trip. We visited historical places in Malaysia, like the Petronas Towers which became the tallest buildings of the world a few years ago, next to the King’s palace, to the museum, down to its shopping malls. We have even stayed in a 7-star hotel there. It was indeed an absolutely awesome trip. Since then, my family and I are always patiently waiting for air fare promos. And just early this year, we have booked for a trip to Hongkong on February 2011 and grabbed our last minute hotel deals. We have always wanted to get a cheaper air fare and hotel accommodation so we can splurge our money for other stuff. LOL. But yeah, I’m looking forward for our next family escapade on February 2011! ‘Hope everything will be fine during that time! J

MYM: STEAMROLLER

An entry for the MYM meme.

A picture of my brother-in-law riding in a "Pison" or a Steamroller. :) You might be surprised why we have a Pison parked inside our frontyard. :) Hmm. It's a long story. But for the record, we don't own this steamroller and my B-I-L isn't the driver of this equipment. :) LOL...

Shoot Me: BLOGGERS UNITED

Here's my entry for the Shoot Me meme. :) I am so happy to have finally met my co-blogger friend Kayce of My Daily Notes  in person last Sunday. She's the one in violet. :) We've known each other for a couple of months already through blogging and have been in constant communication since then. And the chance had finally arrived for us to meet in person and this was during our church 24th Thanksgiving celebration. She was invited by Ate Grace of  Gracia Fashionista, who is a dear Ate of mine and who happens to be my churchmate, too. Though we didn't have much time to chitchat because everyone got so busy, but we assured each other to set another time to bond with each other. :) And we didn't let the night pass without taking pictures together.
The one above is a picture of me, Kayce, Christian of Christian's Music, and Ate Grace.
                                                                Bloggers united, eh?
