Amazing. Blessed. Courageous. Dedicated. Emotional....uhmm, it would be too long if I try to finish describing this lady from A to Z. :) LOL. These words are just some of the things that I can best describe her. She is misunderstood most of the time because of her strong personality. She has this four S'...Strong, stiff, strict, and serious. But when I got to know her deeper, uhmm, I would say she has those four S' (LOL) but I can add one S to that. SENSE...Julie has a lot of it. When you try to converse with her, whoa, she talks with SENSE. This lady is also a loyal friend and confidante. A very, very good friend. :)

I NEED A BEDROOM DRESSER!

In my previous post, I wrote there that I have thought of having a general cleaning and rearranging of things in my bedroom months ago. But since there were a lot of activities that I needed to attend to, so it was being postponed many times. Thanked God I was able to find time last week. I started from one corner to another. But I couldn’t transfer to the next corner because I wanted to make sure that the first one is thoroughly cleaned. Whoa! I just realized that my bedroom was such a mess. It was like it was being hit by a storm. “What a mess!” I thought. There were a lot of laundries to be washed. It was like a mountain. So washing clothes would be an addition to my piled up list of things to do. There were lots of books not being read for a long time. Boxes, boxes, boxes; Trash, trash, trash everywhere! One of the things that amazed me was the tons of clothes that I have in my room. Clothes that was so old and rusty. Clothes that was not being worn for such a very long time; Clothes that are too little because I gained weight already. Clothes that are needed to be passed to another person or put in a box to donate it to the less fortunate. There are a lot of clothes also that I still wear until now. And I have thought, I badly need bedroom dressers now for my clothes to be piled together systematically. Dresser for my casual dresses, dresser for my pants, dresser for my tees, and so on. So I told my mom to accompany me to a furniture shop and help me decide on what to buy as soon as possible.

If you know some furniture shops that sells affordable yet lovely bedroom dressers, please inform me. Thanks! J

Awesome Hotel Cottages and Amenities

  
A couple of months ago, I have really thought of having a general cleaning in my bedroom. It would be a thorough cleaning plus, I have thought, it would be high time to rearrange things.

    But a lot of things have happened during those weeks. I got really, really busy with work, doing monthly reports, plus doing household chores, running errands for my mom.

     In addition, my relatives from the States visited the Philippines but they are now in Cebu. But they made it a point that instead of us going to Cebu to meet them, they will be the ones to visit each family located in different areas of the Philippines. So since my family is the only family who lives in Cagayan de Oro City, we have no choice but to be the hosts of their 3-day visit here with us.

     So weeks before they announced the exact dates they’ll arrive, my sister and I, together with my brother-in-law, booked them in one the finest resorts here in the city. We made sure there are swimming pools for my nieces and nephews to enjoy because they really requested for it. One of the things we also considered was the bedrooms. The hotel offers a lot of amenities for the tourists and guests to enjoy and explore. Aside from their hotel rooms, they also offer cottages good for 2 persons, standard rooms, deluxe rooms, and the family cottages. Whoa! Their rooms are awesome and spacious. For the nature lovers, you would surely love it. They have rustic bedroom furniture, rustic dressers, they have balconies for the guests who occupy the family cottages. Oh, so since 13 people were scheduled to visit, so we booked all the family cottages. And I thanked God for they truly enjoyed their adventure here in our city.

So for those tourists who’d love to visit Cagayan de Oro, Marco Hotel is one of the places you need to consider. Have fun!

Ruby Tuesday: Ladies in Red

Here's a photo of me with my previous co-teachers wearing red on a Valentine's Day. Hmmm, if you don't mind me saying, we didn't have dates on that day. We had to work for 12 hours so it was basically a date with our Korean students. :) To keep the essence of the so called "cupid's day", the teachers decided to wear red tees and had to prepare a little program for everybody. It was shocking yet heartwarming because the kids secretly prepared simple gifts for us. Oh, how I miss my students. :(

Excited to have your body trimmed using a different method? Thrilled to have your nose done? Have chinky eyes. Or are you scared of these kind of things? 

But seriously, what do you think of when you hear about this plastic surgery thingy? Would you be willing to undergo plastic surgery? Be like the actors and actresses that we see on TV with their face lifted or their bodies getting slimmer because they have undergone this process called plastic surgery? Let's talk about what it really means. Plastic surgery, as what i have learned, is a special type of surgery because it is concerned with the correction or restoration of form and function. The word "plastic" is derived from the Greek work "Plastikos" which means to mould or to shape. Plastic surgery also has many types: reconstructive surgery, which corrects defects of the face or of the body. These procedure include physical birth defects like cleft palates or other deformities. Other procedures are hand surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment for burns. 

Nowadays, a lot of people want to go through these procedures.  From teenagers, to people my age, and even to the not so young ones. As long as they've got the money to pay the surgeons then that would be no problem at all. Some people view it as their way to fit in and may look acceptable to their friends. Some want to undergo with these procedures to stand out from the crowd.  The most common plastic surgery procedures are breast reduction, nose reshaping, acne and acne scar treatment, and ear surgery.

For successful plastic surgeries,  we need the best plastic surgeons, too. We have lots of them all over the country. If you want, you can visit the famous plastic surgeons who have been doing the country's famous actors and actresses. So what are you waiting for, visit your nearest medical clinics now. 

Blue Monday: Missionaries On the Go

          This was during the USA-PHILIPPINES Youth Missions. We were on  a jeepney going to some schools that  we were scheduled to go on that day. :) These smiles that we had on this photo were worth it for a lot of students received the GOOD NEWS! :)

Mellow Yellow Monday: Teachers in Yellow

                                                        

A yellowy Monday for all my co-teachers at work. Even after the 12 hours of teaching kids, we still posed for the camera and wore our warm and lovely smiles. :) That's how it should be. No matter how tiresome the job is, at the end of the day, we still have to remember the blessings that God has given us and just simply offer a thanksgiving to Him with a smile. :)

WHAT YOU SAY IS WHAT I WANT TO HEAR

 Hmmm.. Who doesn’t want to be inlove? And who doesn’t want to hear sweet words from their boyfriends?

    

     Most ladies I know, and I for one, want to be in that same old feeling of being loved by someone in the opposite sex. It’s even in our nature to easily feel a tingling feeling simply by just being told that we look good in that dress we’re wearing for that particular date. I have heard a lot from my friends and from my own experience about these cliché lines from our boyfriends. And yes, even if they are cliché, we still have to admit that we still melt when we hear those words from them, right? We wanna hear them say like, “You’re beautiful.” “You look good with green contact lenses.” Even the simple, “I miss you.” “I love the sweet fragrance you’re wearing today.” “You look really good with your sneakers on.”

    

    Being in a relationship, you need to spice it up everyday with words that can make your significant other feel really admired, cherished, respected, appreciated, and loved. But we ladies ought to hear the sweetest and dearest words from you guys and not just simply say it to us. We need it to be real and heartfelt and not just lip-service.

   

    Personally, I had my own share of those spine-tingling moments, too. I’ve heard numerous sweet and the not so sweet things uttered by my former, uhmm, boyfriends. But mind you, I can still count them with my one hand. So “boyfriends” don’t mean more than five. Lol! And those were being said and acted upon in various ways just to make me feel really special. One of the sweetest things I always wanna hear is the simple yet sincerest, “I LOVE YOU.” Nothing really beats that! 

     So to my guy friends, what are the Sweet things to say to your girlfriend? Would you care to share? And to my gals, what are the caring things you should do to make your relationship even sweeter?

Thankful Thursday: IT'S BEEN A MONTH

     It's been a month now since I wrote about my online job interviews here in Thankful Thursday. :) And it's also been a month now since I got that job and started working. Whoa! I really thank God for the blessings I've been receiving this past weeks. :) Indeed, God is so amazing and he really does answers prayers! :) His promises are really true. We just have to ask and claim it! ;)  I love you, Lord! I'm giving you back all the glory and honor for you alone deserve it.
