Camera Critters
This is my first entry for the Camera Critters meme. Here's a picture taken at the gate of the King's Palace in Malaysia. This is actually one of their tourist attractions there. The royal guard isn't allowed to move. (But, yeah, he's allowed to blink his eyes. LOL)
Just wanna include a picture of me and my Mama

Saturday 9
Midnight Confessions:
1. Have you ever had to confess something to a lover or friend?
... Oh, yeah. A lot of times already. Some went good, some didn't. :)
2. How well do you handle rejection?
... By God's grace, I'm getting better.... :)
3. What makes you feel old?
...Uhmm...When I realize that i'm surrounded with much younger people at church. (but is 26 considered old) And they look up to me as their older sister. Well, I gotta accept that my time has passed, though. :)
4. What makes you feel young?
...Well, when I'm with kids and I also play their games.
5. What’s something you are old school about?
....Something old school about me?...I definitely would say my choice of songs. One of my best buddies, Zee, once said, "Hey, you're from ICE AGE! You should learn the popular songs today!"
6. What TV show's seasons would you buy on DVD? Tell us why it rocks.
...Grey's Anatomy, and Glee! :) - For Grey's: I just love the whole cast and each episode about it. And for Glee, since I love singing, I like the genre of the tv show. I love how they revive the songs.
7. If you could create your own TV channel, what would it be?
...Oh, well...sorry but I wouldn't create my own. It would just be an additional problem in my life! LOL :)
8. Where do you like to go for a day trip?
...Roadtrip anywhere with my family or with my best buddies! :) Woohoo! That sounds like a great idea!
9. Name some things that you still want to do in your life.
...TO TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD!! ...To get married with my GOD'S BEST! ...To have kidS! ...To be an inspiration to others by sharing the GOOD NEWS about Jesus! :) ...etc. etc. etc. :)

TRUST HIS HEART
All things work for our good
Though sometimes we don't see how they could
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth
Our Father knows what best for us
His ways are not our own
So when your pathway grows dim
And you just don't see Him
Remember you're never alone
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart
Trust His heart
He sees the master plan
And He holds our future in His hand
So don't live as those who have no hope
All our hope is found in Him
We see the present clearly
But He sees the first and the last
And like a tapestry
He's weaving you and me
To someday be just like Him
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart
Trust His heart
He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you

Food Trip Friday
Well, since I've been teaching English to Koreans for the past 3 years, I thought of giving it a try to eat in a Korean restaurant here in our city. So I invited my family, and my co-teachers, to join me savor the Korean foods. As we all know, Koreans love spicy and salty foods. And indeed, it was pretty much spicy but tasty. I tried remembering the names of what we ordered, but unfortunately, I can't...except for the Kimchi and the Kimbap. For you my fellow bloggers, if you love spicy dishes, why not give it a try, too!

Friday Fill-ins
And...here we go!
1. Barbeque -- the best food to take on a picnic.
2. Summer is a good time for an out of the country vacation.
3. If given two choices, shoes or flip flops? I'd definitely go for flip flops.
4. To love someone is to respect and trust them with all your heart.
5. Menara Kuala Lumpur Tower to the Petronas Towers -- a long hike.
6. When I crave food, it's usually McDonald's Large french fries and Green apple sprite float.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hang out with my bestfriends, tomorrow my plans include Worship Team practice and Sunday, I want to enjoy God's presence and be filled with His message by attending the Sunday service!

Skywatch Friday
This shot was taken by my brother-in-law last May 16th at around 7pm. I was really in awe when I saw the sky at that very moment. They called it the "Occultation of the planet Venus by the moon". Well, whatever that means, it was indeed awesome! :)

Thankful Thursday
I always thank God even for the littlest thing that happens in my life everyday. It's just simply showing our God how we appreciate the things He gives us. So for today, aside from the love and protection He's given me, I wanna thank Him for the rain. Its been months that we haven't experienced rain. I truly miss it. And so it's June, we should start welcoming the rainy season!

Shoot Me: Wacky Side of Us
This was during our post "surprise" celebration for our mommies for Mother's day. These are my circle of friends and the hosts of the party. We had our families gathered and just enjoyed the day with laughter....not to mention the eating part and the videoke (they really sung their hearts out). Looking forward for the next party!..
WATERY WEDNESDAY: A Shot From Above
This photo was taken last April 2, 2010 while in the plane going to Cebu. I soooo loved this picture because I was able to capture the ship though I was inside an aircraft. I called it "a shot from above".

TCP: NOTTING HILL (1999)
Actually, this is my first time to write for the Tuesday Couch Potato meme. I got more excited to write since the theme for this week is "It's all about Hugh". Aside from actor Matthew Mcconaughey, Hugh Grant is really a favorite of mine. I've watched a lot of his movies and memorized lines, too. I know a lot of people would agree that he doesn't have the looks like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, but, whoa, his sex appeal is sooooo great. His English accent adds up to that which makes him cuter and more adorable.
So since I have to choose a Hugh Grant movie, Notting Hill is really on top of my list. And this movie is an all time favorite of mine, too. Julia Roberts, the lead actress, did a pretty great job in this movie, along with her co-stars. The movie is so light, fun, and very, very romantic-- the reason all those hopeless romantics loved this movie. I've watched it countless times already.
Here are some of the memorable lines from the movie:
William: "I live in Notting Hill. You live in Beverly Hills. Everyone in the world knows who you are, my mother has trouble remembering my name."
Anna Scott: "I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
Anna Scott: "Can I stay for awhile?"
William: "You can stay forever."
Anna Scott: "Busy tomorrow?"
William: "I thought you were leaving tomorrow?"
Anna Scott: "I was."
Anna Scott: "You know what they say about men with big feet."
William: " No, I don't, actually. What's that?"
Anna Scott: "Big feet... large shoes."
So if you, guys, haven't watched it yet, I really would suggest to grab a dvd now, sit back, relax, and enjoy watching the movie! :)

Mellow Yellow Monday
While chillaxing at my home, out of boredom, my friend and I thought of making Korean Kim Bap. Since we had some ingredients left in the fridge, so we decided to use them . My friend is so fond of experimenting, especially on food. So we just searched in the internet on how to make the Korean Kim Bap and tried to make our own. Viola! Our very own Kim Bap!

A Day for the Mothers
A man and a woman can choose who they're going to marry and spend the rest of their lives with. Children can choose their friends. But we can never choose the members of our family, particularly our mother.
Every 2nd Sunday of May people celebrate Mother's Day. We give tribute to them for the unfailing love and care they've given us, the sacrifices, the hardwork of taking care of us since the day we were conceived and up to this very day. It's really good to give them expensive gifts or treat them to fancy restaurants. But even the simplest gesture like buying them flowers or writing them a little note telling them how much we appreciate them will surely make a great impact to our mothers.
Some mothers stay at home and be a full time mom to their kids while some mothers have to work, even outside the country, just to help their husbands provide the needs of the family. But even though these mothers are not with their families, it doesn't mean they care less.
So no matter what we say, all mothers are GREAT in their own respective ways. And this is what I always say, we should often tell our mothers how much we love them while we still have the chance to say it.
To my mom, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. You just don't know how much I truly love you. I will take care of you for the rest of my life for you are a treasure of mine. I thank God for your life. I love you, Mama!
To all mothers out there, you are truly appreciated and loved not just for today but EVERYDAY! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

Missy BON BON
I received a text message from my girlfriends the other day. They wanted to hang out in the mall. So without hesitation, since I missed a lot of get-together lately, I immediately went to the place. When I'm with this group of friends, LAUGHTER and FOOD TRIP is really expected. We went to this new food haven called Missy BON BON, situated right outside the mall. The ambiance is really great. Great for chit-chatting after work, or just hanging around after strolling in the mall. Food is kinda expensive but it's worth it...delicious...but this place is good for those who have sweet tooth just like me. Gelato is their specialty in the house, I suppose. They have different flavors which make us want to crave and order more. So I suggest, if you have Missy BON BON in your place, try to visit and order some gelato especially now that it's summer! I guarantee you it's soooooo YUMMY!!
Being Sick
I've been sick for the past days so I haven't been able to write posts. I had fever due to colds and had tonsillitis at the same time. It was pretty tough, though. Nowadays, people get sick too easily. We blame it on the weather, too hot then suddenly rain pours in the afternoon. Sometimes we blame pollution, too. Well, there are a lot of factors why people get sick, actually. We can even blame ourselves, as well. People, most often than not, abuse their bodies by eating too much than what's needed, always sleeping really late, drinking too much alcohol, smoking, and the like.
To be able to avoid getting sick too easily, to get rid of the hassle in going to the doctor and buy expensive meds, and especially if you know that you have low body resistance, you better take extra care instead of abusing one's self. We only have one body so we better try to be responsible of it. Eat enough, stay away from food and things which won't benefit our bodies, exercise regularly (easier said than done, though), drink occasionally, take your vitamins daily, and drink at least 8 glasses of H2O. These are just the basic things to do to avoid sicknesses.
MODERATION is simply the key. A little of everything harms no one.
