Any Suggestions For a Wedding Gift?

Two couples at my church are getting married on the 15th and 28th of April. And mind you, they are good friends of mine so it's obvious that I am invited. Lol. I even have a role in one of the couples' wedding. So as early as February, I have been thinking of what to wear. Should I be buying two different dresses or should I just rent? Of course, I can never wear the same dress in two different weddings all happening in the same month! Whoa. It gets me stressed. There's also one thing I am also stressed about. The WEDDING GIFTS!!! What should I give them? The most common gifts given to newlyweds are Kitchen Utensils, glassware, dining ware, bed sheets and pillows, iron, oven, and the like. But I want my gift to be unique and not just the thought of merely giving. I want it to be special.

Do you have any suggestions, friends? I would truly accept ideas and suggestions. Thanks! :)

RT: McDonald's, Ey! :)

My best friends and I never fail to visit McDonald's whenever we get the chance to hang out. :) This place has always been a FAVORITE of ours over the years. We have been busy with our own lives lately. Peatchy and Francis at the left are expecting their baby this month. Rio, at my right, will be arriving on the 25th of this month for the Semestral vacation. She's been assigned in a far place so whenever she comes home, we always see to it that we get together and hold a theme party. Oh, well. Two more weeks to go!!! I'm so excited to see them!

MYM, Blue Monday, and RT: Circle Of FRIENDS

MellowYellowMondayBadge
Here's a picture of my circle of friends. Originally, we're five. :) Christian, who owns the Christian's Music blog, Francis the banker, me, Rio the teacher but is assigned in another place, and Peachy also the teacher who works in the same school with Rio. Francis and Peachy got married with each other last year. So that would simply mean, at that time, Christian, Rio and I were loveless. LOL.

Now here's a picture of us again with our partners. :) This was during our church 24th Thanksgiving celebration last Sunday. Though we were not complete here because Rio wasn't able to book a flight for this event but we intentionally took a picture of us for this was our first picture together with our partners.
Now i'm glad to say: A picture of me and Mark, my boyfriend, Christian and Karren, his girlfriend, and Peachy and Francis. We are praying and hoping that the next picture together would be complete--with Rio and her boyfriend. :)

TT: GOT HIRED and GOT SPARED

THANKING GOD FOR 2 PARTICULAR REASONS YESTERDAY. :)

This isn't about me but about two special people in my life--my Kuya (brother-in-law) and Mark (partner in life).
Mark got hired as a computer instructor in an international school yesterday. He was recommended by Pastor John in A Bucket of Wisdom and was scheduled to have a demo class. And what's amazing was he didn't even had the chance to present his demo class. Just a small interview and then, viola, he got hired! He got so overwhelmed about what's going on with his life. Just last week he got an online job and now he's going to teach computer subject to kids. :) But we thank God for the abundant blessings. :)

Second particular reason of thanking God yesterday was He spared my Kuya's life from the incident that happened dawn in Thursday. He was on a bus on his way home from Zamboanga del Norte to Cagayan de Oro when they noticed a commotion just 50 meters away from them. There were a lot of bystanders on the road and they saw a bus burnt down by unidentified armed suspects. The driver and the conductor of the bus together with 3 police escorts were killed. If they had traveled 30 minutes earlier, it would have been their bus that was put to the torch. So I simply uttered a simple thank you to God for sparing my Kuya and let him come back home safe. Read the entire story in his blog at EXPRESSIONS.

Shoot Me: Wacky Side of Us

Forever In Blue Jeans

This was during our post "surprise" celebration for our mommies for Mother's day. These are my circle of friends and the hosts of the party. We had our families gathered and just enjoyed the day with laughter....not to mention the eating part and the videoke (they really sung their hearts out). Looking forward for the next party!..
